The American Insurance Association (AIA)
has published an easy to use summary of boiler and pressure
vessel laws. The comprehensive manual covers the laws in
all United States jurisdictions and Canadian provinces.
It is a unique resource in the field of pressure vessels
and piping and is part of AIA's publication series. Both
online and hardcopy versions of the publication are available.
They have information on hyperlinks to the full text all
of the boiler laws. The manual also has contact information
for regulators and a chart illustrating laws across the
various jurisdictions. Provisions are presented in summary
form to facilitate research. The publication is free to
AIA members. Others can purchase the online edition for
$195.00 US or the hardcopy edition for $215.00 US. They
