CC Technologies Systems: We
provide corrosion monitoring equipment and coupons (see photograph).
These have been developed to help ensure the effectiveness
of cathodic protection (CP) systems on underground pipelines,
tanks, and structures. We also have systems for making linear
polarization resistance (LPR) measurements in the field, as
well as in the laboratory.
We also
have developed special purpose software for assessment of
mechanical integrity and remaining life. CorLAS(TM) uses
the effective area approach and inelastic fracture mechanics
to assess the strength and remaining life of pipelines,
piping, and vessels with corrosion or crack-like flaws.
pcTUBE(TM) predicts creep damage and remaining life in fired
heater tubes made of the HK or HP cast alloys.
