Holdings UAS, provides high-tech NDT and engineering services
such as:
- Acoustic emission (AE) testing according
to ASME-V and the MONPAC/IPAC procedure is used for the
assessment of structural integrity of metallic vessels
such as spheres, bullets, columns, storage tanks and cryogenic
tanks (ammonia etc.). TANKPAC is a proprietary acoustic
emission method for evaluating the condition of storage
tank floors without emptying the tank (tanks are tested
in-situ with product). The method provides a classification
of floor level corrosion damage. Other AE services include
leak detection and continuous monitoring. Localized NDT
(PT, MT, ET, UT) is offered as an alternative or compliment
to AE testing.
- Automated ultrasonic testing (UT) for
thickness measurements and corrosion mapping (vessels-LSI,
or tubes-TUBESCAN) and weld inspection using pulse echo
or TOFD.
- Fitness for service, life assessment,
and failure analysis.
- Risk based inspection (RBI) for static
(pressure equipment, pipes and tanks) and rotating equipment.
- Research and development and software
and applications development.
